I got married recently. How do I get my spouse’s name included in my passport?

It is better to include your spouse’s name in your passport. For this, please file up Form No.2 and submit it
along with marriage certificate, photocopy of spouse’s passport (if she has one) and two diffrent proof of stay
(if the present address is different from the one in the passport). Note : The procedure is the same if one wants
to include her husband’s name in the passport.

In the absence of a marriage certificate, a joint affidavit (notarized) with a joint photograph can also be ubmitted.
Husbands' passport, along with a copy, is to be produced.
